About Cranbrook and your local Electrician in Cranbrook

Cranbrook, a market Town that received its Charter in 1290 has a very rich vein of History running through it. From the Flemish weavers to the visit of Elizabeth the 1st. Named after the Crane Brook ,the name evolved from Crane Broca to Cranbrook over the centuries. It boast St Dunstans ( the Cathedral of the Weald) and many other chapels and Churches showing the many denominations of worship down the ages.

The Union Windmill standing high above the village is a unique piece of engineering as a Smoke mill built on a brick plinth to raise it high enough to catch the wind. I have worked in so many interesting buildings here each time learning something more of the rich tapestry of life that evolved in this historic market town.

Growing up and being an Electrician in Cranbrook holds special memories for me from the Primary school attending Cubs and Scouts playing football on the Ball Field and much more. I did two weeks work experience at the now Closed TV and Hi Fi shop Banghams whilst at secondary school.

Back then there were at least four engineers working on the Television and Video recorders that were in for repair. Many years earlier the company were electricians too. I’ve probably forgotten so many of the Electrical installations I’ve worked on in and around the Town.

I was recently working in a shop in Carriers road and have carried out alterations and additions to the electrics in many of the period shops and Buildings in the High street and Stone Street. For some time now I have advised shop keepers to upgrade their lighting to LED lights. I can still remember changing a Halogen lamp above the Crucifix on the front of the Catholic Church. Hanging on for dear life such was the height.

Theses day of course with Health and safety paramount we would erect a mini tower for such a task. With an extensive knowledge and over 30 experience I cover all aspects of electrical matters, from fault finding, installation, design and full certification, with experience in both the domestic and commercial sector.

I provide a personal, prompt and professional service and my aim is customer satisfaction. I have experience managing small projects with small budgets and short deadlines to large bespoke projects. I offer a range of services to co-ordinate with your other contractors to make sure your project runs smoothly with minimal hassle for you.
